Through its annual Business Awards, The Chamber encourages, recognises and rewards excellence and innovation in business across a wide variety of industries.

NSW Department of Trade & Investment, Regional Infrastructure & Services

The Armidale Trade & Investment office of the NSW Department of Trade & Investment, Regional Infrastructure & Services fosters new and emerging industries and assists existing industries, encourages and supports community economic development and helps individual businesses to expand and grow in terms of jobs, investments or exports.

Business development programs include assistance with technology, export growth, business and marketing plans, e-commerce opportunities, developing marketing materials and tools, business relocation and/or expansion and capital raising.

Regional Development Australia - Northern Inland

Regional Development Australia - Northern Inland (RDANI) comprises a small team of dedicated staff and a committee of local people jointly funded by the Australian and the New South Wales Governments. Their mandate is to identify, through a regional plan, opportunities to improve services and help develop our region both economically and socially in a sustainable environment. RDANI act as a conduit between Governments and local communities and also as a provider of information.

RDANI is a non-profit community based organisation with the committee members having a broad and diverse skill base with extensive networks including Local Government, the private sector and educational institutions throughout the region.

New England North West BEC

The New England North West BEC (Business Enterprise Centre) is a community based not-for-profit Company limited by guarantee, providing business planning, information, training products and project management services to mainstream and Aboriginal communities of the New England North West region of NSW.

The BEC provides a range of No Cost services in business planning and business mentoring. It is a “one-stop shop” for FREE confidential and practical advice for people who are: starting a business, expanding their business or are having problems with their business.

Armidale Dumaresq Council

Armidale Dumaresq Council’s Economic Development, Tourism & Marketing Department has the responsibility to implement the Council’s ten year (2011-2021) Economic Development and Tourism Strategies. These strategies are integrated into the Armidale Community Strategic Plan. All documents are available on the Armidale Dumaresq Council website and are designed to drive future economic growth and diversification and to showcase our region.
