Armidale is once again exhibiting at the Country & Regional Living Expo at Rosehill Racecourse in Sydney on 6th - 8th August 2010. This is the seventh year that Armidale is participating in the expo where we will promote opportunities to live, work and invest in Armidale.
This year, the Armidale exhibit will include the Evocities branding. The Evocities are a group of seven vibrant progressive NSW regional cities which offer fantastic career and lifestyle opportunities for Sydney-siders seeking a City-Change. EVO stands for Energy, Vision and Opportunity.
The seven Evocities including Armidale are stand-out regional cities selected because of their economic and population growth, affordable property prices, educational opportunities, facilities and services. Living in an Evocity means less traffic, greater lifestyle, an embracing community, a smaller mortgage and a safe place to raise your family.
As a City-Change family moving from Sydney to Armidale in 2001, my wife, two children and I have enjoyed the benefits of living in Armidale. Living in Armidale allows us the time to enjoy life, travel and participate in theatre and other cultural activities. We spend more time together as a family, our children attend some of the best schools in Australia and the commute to work (5 minutes) is something people in Sydney only dream about. We enjoy much of what Sydney has to offer but without the challenges!
