COUNTRY & REGIONAL LIVING EXPO

As the recently appointed Chair of Regional Development Australia (RDA) for the region and as Manager – Economic Development, Tourism & Marketing for Armidale Dumaresq Council, I am proud to be a part of the Armidale Exhibit at the 2009 Country & Regional Living Expo. Armidale has always had a very strong presence at the Country & Regional Living Expo where we promote our strong educational opportunities, real estate, jobs and enviable lifestyle.

As a treechanger family moving from Sydney to Armidale in 2001, my wife, two children and I have enjoyed the benefits of The Armidale Life. Living in Armidale allows us the time to enjoy life, travel, participate in theatre and other cultural activities. We spend more time together as a family, our children attend some of the best schools in Australia and the commute to work (5 minutes) is something people in Sydney only dream about.

This year, we are offering the chance for two lucky people from Sydney who visits the Armidale Exhibit, to win a fantastic prize. Petersons Winery & Guest House, the Whitebull Hotel, Bottega Café, New England Regional Art Museum (NERAM), Council and others have kindly donated some great prizes including accommodation, meals and tours to showcase The Armidale Life.

We also have a great prize for two Armidale residents as an incentive to encourage friends and family from Sydney to visit the Armidale Exhibit. Check out the details of the competition on this page. So come on, tell your friends and family in Sydney to visit the Armidale Exhibit at the Country & Regional Living Expo at Rosehill Racecourse on 7, 8 and 9 August 2009 and your friends, relatives and you can win some great prizes.
